My dad used to drive me and my brothers to Coronado to watch the SEAL training and see the obstacle courses. He used to say that if we pissed off my mom too much he would call up his friends who works their and make us do all the training. We were 6 and 8

He met an already team member who was dreading a deployment because he feared “someone will die from this team in this deployment”. I will NEVER DISCOUNT what these men do for our country. However, the harrowing realization that for some men, all the hard work they already gave, would ultimately mean death…. That was tough

I was NAVY, in decent shape and pretty salty at one point. I wouldn’t have made it through day 1 at BUDS but I sure would have liked to try…
