Bambu Lab X1C FAILED TO PULL OUT FILAMENT FROM THE EXTRUDER ERROR

This error was driving me nuts on my not even a week old X1 carbon. I had to babysit any print that had filament changes so I decided to see if I could come up with a solution on my own while I wait on customer service to help with the issue and it has worked flawlessly since. It’s kinda funny I used my 300 dollar Ender to fix my 1500 dollar bambu. I’m still in awe of how fast and nice this printer is though. Thanks for watching and hope this helps.

Thanks man. I saw a post where someone filed down the side of the plastic that the lever get's stuck on, but I like the idea of adding a guide instead. I should also add that the opposite problem could happen - the magnet can dislodge from the lever which prevents it from sensing the filament (the magnet needs to touch the black chip). In that case the little dot never turns green and printer won't recognize that it's loaded. Might be a good idea to add a dab of adhesive to the magnet as well.

I was having an issue that the filament was not retracting. I had taken apart the assembly but couldn't find a problem, and, when re-installing it previously, I had failed to return the cutter blade into its proper slot. The blade had been sitting outside the assembly. Talk about missing the obvious! 😆 On a side note, I discovered when playing a YouTube video, holding down the space bar (Mac) speeds up the video/audio, while still understandable. Wish I knew that along ago. Merry Christmas!

Hi did the new part fix the problem? I have contacted Bambu, but they are not offering any solutions related to the sensor. Did you try all their other suggestions?
