How to make a STOOL

From a few off-cuts off timber in my workshop, I have put a video together documenting the process I used to produce this small piece of furniture.

My first YouTube video! A video produced having made some time and just because I fancied making one. A tick off of my own to do list!

I hope the video content encourages or somehow inspires even just a few individuals turning a few off-cuts of timber into a product of purpose that will furnish their home for years to come.

This was really helpful. I set aside a piece 6/4 of hard maple months ago (and I have several cutoffs of black walnut) with the thought of making a music stool for playing guitar. Your stool is the perfect design — with legs a bit longer. Your video was a great find. Thanks.
