I bought new loud speakers that felt to heavy for my speaker stands so I made two of these stools and the speakers sit on them. The wider based makes them feel stable.

+Jay Bates - Built some of these today for the shop. Everything went really well. I used your 45' jig to cut the angles. - One problem on your plans in the PDF though. The lengths for the bottom rails are way too long. The long rail @ 16 inches is the same width as the seat so there's no way that would fit. I cut the bottom rails to 12.5 and 8 inches (roughly) - No big deal but worth a mention.

I love my pocket-hole computer desk I made. but I figure the stool is going to have some torsion
put on it as U move around on the stool ??? due to the torgue and your body weight, , how big a person do U
think this stool can support with just using pocket screws ????
