I don’t think it’s just Sayori who’s depressed. I think Monika is too. She’s honestly better at hiding it than Sayori. What reason would she have not to be depressed? She knows she will never be loved by he lover, she lives in a fake reality, her friends are programmed, and she is always lonely with no point of existence.

She just hides behind her beautiful smile trying to play her part in the game :(
