You know, after all the times I've heard this song with its lovely melodies, I noticed something.


The piano is constantly playing over the other instruments like it's trying to get your attention. The few times it's not the primary instrument, it cuts in to make itself the primary.

Monika is trying to get your attention from the very moment you fire the game up for the first time, and you would never even realize it.

If you haven't realized yet, the different musical instruments represent each characters in this game. The piano represents Monika which explains why the piano keeps interrupting solo parts of each instruments in the music, just like in the game.
