I read an article in which it is claimed that Barba and Carisi would be really close, in fact it has happened in much of the seasons since the two characters emerged. But that after the departure of Warren Leight (responsible for Raul's coming to the show) things were changed by the new writer, who got Barba closer to Benson and Carisi from Rollins, pushing Barba and Carisi apart. I personally don't like Rollins, she lives sleeping with a lot of guys. Carisi deserves something better.
