I didn't want to drive to the hardware store to buy screws. So I just created a rod in Fusion 360 with glue able stoppers at the End put it all together and it works great, use the box everyday at work, nothing broke jet 😊

I get printer envy every time I come here. One day I will build a VZBot.

Time-lapses always were meditative, but Vez goes to new levels of this magic every video with all this angle changes and staff. And shiny cnc VzBot helps a lot with it - not only one of the fastest fdm, but definitely best looking of printers people can build now - just because of all amazing cnc parts.

Yeah it was always going to need an o-ring to be water tight, also that o-ring most likely will need replacing every so often to maintain the seal. Cool Bo's though, would be nice for dice or cards

I printed one about 5"x10x8" out of petg and keep my pi's and buck converters and a couple boards in it. Good way to not lose them or get damaged. Awesome box design

i've made a large one of these to keep my tools in for my oil changes. convenient so i don't have to hunt for the tools for that job, just grab the box and get to work. been tossing it around without care to see how much it can take

I print gaskets in vase mode with at least two layers most of the time three to four. Depending how wide the gasket is how big the nozzle is.

from someone who prints pure PCCF almost daily now -- wet PCCF is very very very common -- PC loves absorbing moisture and CF even more so

Fantastic. It's early in the morning here, woke up a little too early and watching this was so relaxing 😌
These boxes and the video came out great!

Man theses smooth walls, I'm dreaming about that...

You could try setting the seam placement to random positions. I'm pretty sure there's a setting for that in Prusaslicer/Superslicer. Maybe that would help out with the gasket.

I need to print a few of these as soon as my bambu PETG HF arrives. Thanks for the overview and your experience. I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it (probably by now), but filament even fresh out of the package isn't necessarily dry. So for any filaments tempermental to moisture absorption like PETG or TPU, I dry them even fresh out of the package.
Thanks for posting!
Checking out the rest of your vids. 🙂

Print this kind of boxes out of TPU with high infill. It will be super sturdy. Printing Rubber is awesome.
