You can add a gasket around the rim to keep moisture out.

PLA and PETG suffer from creep while under tension so the latches stretch and get loose over time (speaking from experience with these boxes.) It's a good idea to print the latches from ABS or ASA or something else that doesn't creep. PLA is fine for the box itself though.

Printed a similar version. It has a TPU lid. Also great design!!!

Printed it as a dice container, works great.
Only removed the fillet at the base for a cleaner print.

Good print id want it bigger so id have to do the top and bottom separately so i could do so. Keep my knife collection
