Very nice video, I have used these boards for a few battery packs I build 2 years ago. They haven't failed me yet. I have the version you are holding at 6:35 and the battery terminals have a metal plate on them so you can spot weld nickle strips to them instead of soldering wires. It's set up so the strips line up perfectly to the cells to keep the strips short. I paid about $3 USD for each in a pack of 3. Very cheap.

I searched eBay for "12V 3S 40A Lithium BMS" (without quotes) and results return "Standard", "Enhanced" and "Balanced", but don't know which I should be using. I'm thinking of putting together a few packs for use with my UPS's using the battery boxes on eBay (searched for 12V 10Ah 3S 7P). Thanks for the very educational video!
