PEOPLE NEED TO START HELPING THE DISABLED AND SENIORS.

This is what happens when you can’t own your own home. It’s appalling.

Question.... Why is the son calling the news media as opposed to going over and cleaning his parents apartment ? If he can't do it. I'm positive they can get someone to help go by and clean. The state will even send someone over

Sad. I hope people in their community see this story and helps them. We need a follow-up on this story.

THEY SHOULD HAVE SOMEONE HELP THEM SINCE THEY ARE GOING THROUGH SURGERIES AND HEALTH ISSUES.
SENDING PRAYERS TO THEM.

I’m sympathetic. I cleaned out my dad/mom’s house and they had accumulated a lot of stuff. My question, why didn’t their son come and help clean up or hire someone to assist. Due to their income, I was able to get a lady to come in and clean for my parents and I traveled from Minnesota to Chicago for years to help out.

It's a shame what this Country has become now.

These two people should be in assisted living housing, not on their own. Cleaning up is just one aspect of daily life. Bathing, getting groceries, making meals, etc are all sometimes too much for seniors. I hope these people can find someone to help them.

I wish there’s people to volunteer to clear up the clutter. They should gotten help. It’s heartless to evict the disabled.

Eviction shouldn't be the solution. The need help. Senior's should be protected🙏

It looks like a hoarder situation to me and that's not easy convincing them to get rid of things, however making a sickly couple that's been their for 17y get out is inhumane and shameful 😮😮😮

If they are disabled, they can get other assistance for housekeeping, shopping, etc.

My mom has COPD, She just moves very slow but she gets the job done and doesn't let things clutter up until it's too late 😢

It definitely looks like a fire hazard, the sheer arrogance of trashing someone's property then claiming the have been unfairly treated.
