During his fast, Barbieri, a Scottish man from Tayport, Fife, subsisted on tea, coffee, sparkling water, vitamins, and yeast extract. He frequently visited Maryfield Hospital in Dundee, Angus for medical evaluation. I have gastro paralysis so I’ve gone a month or more without pooping, though I’ve also had to have 8&1/2 ft of my intestines removed because they were ripping open. 2 different bowel removal surgeries. Now that’s painful, but clearly I lived.
