This video has been extremely helpful during my recovery from prostatectomy surgery. Performed your pelvic floor in conjunction with Kegel exercises daily. Eating right and exercising (2.5 mi brisk walk daily). In five months I have went from 300+ ml leakage to now 17 ml daily. I am very confident within a few more months will be continent .

David- very well presented and user-friendly program for me as I am post radical robotic prostatectomy and was unsure how and when I might be able to curtail the incontinence seen as I bend at the waist, cough, sneeze, or simply fatigue, or when still semi-somnolent at night but need a trip to the bathroom to void. Sometimes that trip can be associated with the incontinence

Thanks for that. I am here as i have overactive bladder which is making my life a nightmare at times esp travel. I gave an expert what amounted to a week of my wages, to no result, and she didn't give me the exercises you have given us free here. Every blessing from Ireland!

Thanks David. That was the most informative and easy to understand exercise program that i have found so far.I had prostate surgery in january 2012, and have had 'dribble' problems ever since. You have given me great encouragement that i might be able to stop this embarrassing problem. Kind regards Dave in the UK

Clear and easy to understand and remember.
Very useful the recommendation when standing up from seating, coughing, sneezing...
It is also useful to hold negative abdominal pression in abdominal contraction and releasing air from lungs in the excentric phase of the movement

Hi David. I have gone thru few videos on this subject but yours is the best and simple way to explain Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercises. Even the demonstration of the exercises further clarifies everything. Thank you. Also thanks to Charles for uploading this highly useful video.

Brilliant- thanks, David. I’m due to have a prostatectomy in the next two weeks and this is the most straightforward description of pelvic floor exercises I’ve seen. 👍

I too just had my prostate removed and this video was incredibly helpful. Very clear and thoughtful presentation. You would fortunate to be nursed by Mr Hughes.
