What Stereo Widener Do You Use When Mastering And Why?

In this video I discuss what stereo wideners I use when mastering and why. Stereo width can make a master come to life and sound very pleasing to the ear. To do this we use a few different techniques and tools whilst mastering.

Sounds Great! I only have the Fusion and on some material the Stereo widener is pretty nice! Would love to have the Portico 2, but not happening short term. Also would love to have “Spacecraft Onthemoon” for stereo field editing. Now I have to split everything in mono and separate MS and make different channels to send them all on different busses and levels to “Voicode” from merging Technologies to get proper Phase correlation and thus having a nice and realistic Stereo image while still being mono compatible. Hahahaha yea sometimes have to be creative to get you going if you cant have all the hardware hahahaha Cheers😊

Thanks for this video - maybe u can make a video how the mbp perform and how u use it as a stereo widener ? I for mbp and Fusion and feel what u mean but I’m very interested how u use it for example in hip hop or pop mastering 😀✌🏻
