How to fix VLC can't recognize the input's format in windows 7/8/10-vlc can't recognize the input's format-vlc player error your input can't be opened-vlc media player error.

I get the following error message/notification while try to open the one file via vlc player in my windows 7 pc:

The format of file:// srt mp3 mov m3u8 mpg location .mp4 cannot be detected.Have a look at the log for details.

This problem solution is common for windows 7,windows 8,windows 8.1,windows 10 and this error is also occurred in windows media player.

Solution:

1.Download the latest version of vlc media player.

2.Or you can download the combined pack software.

3.Finally the error is solved.

Assalaamu Alaikum, In your First Method, It shows, " Cannot render the file"(1:23)(MPC-HCx64 bit).
And your Second Method is not working on my laptop Either.
