I recently purchased a DJI action 2 and saw this video. I tried plugging in the camera the same way in this video but for some reason the file transfer/webcam mode prompt popped out even when plugged in while the camera is on, it only charged. Any solutions?

It works but it heats up too much! is it even safe to use it permanentely as a webcam?

Can we get a setting on the Action 2 to save long form videos to 1 file instead of multiple??? I want to make a video and upload to youtube directly without splicing everything together in an editor.

it seems that the webcam feature does not work on MacOS Monterey. the device is identified as "UVC Camera" (say, in Zoom) but you cannot use it as webcam. My other Macs (still on MacOS Big Sur) work fine with this without issues. Can anyone from DJI confirm this?

EDIT: As of Nov 9 2021 this does not work with MacOS Monterey as webcam. I just upgraded my MBP from Big Sur to Monterey and the webcam stopped working showing the same issue.

I cant connect my action 2 to windows 11, is the cam software still not compatible to windows 11?

Does it use the battery while in webcam mode or does it get power from the type c cable? How long can it run on webcam mode?

looks like I need some help: when connecting a USB-cable to the cam (with power cube) it does not show the file transfer option. Any suggestions?

My DJI Action 2 does not show the prompt to transfer media from internal to SD card. Are you able to help with this? Any ideas?

Please explain why it takes 30 min to dump the 22GB of videos on to the SD. How is that usable for an "ACTION" cam? 30 min recording and then 30 min of wait time?
