DJI OSMO ACTION 2 SD CARD NOT DETECTING

This Upload is intended to share with DJI to report the SD Card Issue not detecting anymore.

Had the same issue. Removed the main camera from the case and connected it raw with the battery module and it worked . Put case back on and it worked. I think the issue is with the case data connectors. I bought a new case and not had to do that work around again since

You could swap the battery modules to try it, mines doing the same today. I have noticed it still records to the card which is strange.

Do you have a magnet attached to it. If it is than that might be causing the issue.

My DJi action 2 wasn't reading the external SD yesterday & I found out why, when the clip on battery is drained the camera can't detect the SD card. This explains why the camera shuts down when the external battery gets low on power, that battery drains first recharging the internal battery. The internal can be 90%+ but if the external has drained or is low it turns the camera off, when drained the SD can't be detected. As soon as it was charging again the SD became visible, the camera module doesn't export any power to keep the SD working. Just another annoying feature of a useful camera for me, I wonder if users can buy a spare external battery module because the internal storage soon runs out.

It's the "protective" case.... those things suck. I am having the same exact problem, watched your video and then decided to remove the smallrig protective case from my unit and the problem is solved.

pudiste componer tu modulo ?? mira yo le quite la carcasa protectora al modulo de la camara y le limpie con gotas de limon y un paño de tela suave los conectores del puerto de expansion, y ya seco les aplique un poco de alcohol isopropilico y deje secar, volvi a conectar los dos modulos y me reconocio la tarjeta inmediatamente, suerte amigo tu video me sirvio de mucho

Had the same issue and had to send it to DJI they replaced the display module very quickly
