MP3 converter app for iOS (iPhone/iPad)

How to convert audio to MP3 on an iPhone of iPad using an app which supports converting to MP3 on iOS (iPhone/iPad).

In this video, I show you how to use the very cool Voice Record 7 app in iOS to convert any audio file to MP3 or a number of other formats.

Here’s how to do it:
00:38 - 1. Locate any audio file on your iPhone or iPad, or directly from an app like GarageBand
00:53 - 2. Share or export the audio file
01:05 - 3. When the share screen appears, scroll to the right and select the “Voice Record 7” app
01:57 - 4. The audio file is imported in to the app
02:29 - 5. Choose the “advanced convert” option
02:57 - 6. Set the parameters to your liking
03:43 - 7. Convert your file
04:25 - 8. Send your new MP3 file back to your Files app
05:06 - 9. You are DONE! Use your new MP3 file anywhere!

Love all your tips and I really appreciate your sharing them with the world. This one I have abandoned after a couple of attempts for the following reasons 1. sounds like mud and 2. some of the drummer tracks seem to get modified in the process. 1 is most important to me but 2 is also irksome. So far I haven't found an improvement on playing it through some speakers and recording it on my phone ! I'm still interesting in finding a more sophisticated approach that produces a manageable file without losing the highlights.

I heard a News Reporter say to their female counterpart - ‘That would be like looking for a needle, in a stack of needles’ - To which I thought.... ( as I occasionally do) if I wanted a needle, the very first place I’d look, and be more than ‘slightly confident’ of finding said needle, would be in a bloody great pile of needles, especially a pile the size of a haystack!??

She was referring to the drainage of a reservoir, and the loss of a wedding ring in the reservoir some 40 years earlier, and the subsequent hunt with a metal detector for it while the reservoir was drained - personally, I think that in itself was a far better description of the massive exercise in futility than the simplistic ‘needle / haystack’ hunt would have it sound.

Like “looking for a gold wedding ring in a drained reservoir 40 years after you dropped it in there” - I’d maybe ‘gape’ in awe at that - and she bloody found it, within minutes!!

My almost instant elation for her tears of joy turned to the typical shaking head in disbelief at just how low the *most* stupid point is on the ‘Most Stupidity’ centile. Honestly.
It’s like taking the story of Romeo and Juliet and thinking ‘Hmmm, I still think that Mills and Boon should get the film deal’.

Don’t forget Pete, I’m upside down with respect to you mate - ask anyone debunking the globe Earth with a 1:26 scale model Airbus A380, and a football-sized globe’.
