About Frankie Drake Mysteries:
This drama series, set in stylish 1920s Toronto, follows the female-only agency Drake Private Detectives, led by the eponymous Frankie Drake and her partner Trudy Clarke. Incorporating a brand of justice that doesn't always follow the law, Frankie and Trudy investigate mysteries and crimes that either the police refuse to take on, or that their clients cannot take to the police at all. Against a backdrop of social change, radical politics and jazz music, the series is immersed in both the real Toronto of the 1920s and the world of mystery and suspense conjured by creators Carol Hay and Michelle Ricci.

Her dress is so nice and suits the dancing.

Love this. Easy way to get into it. I hate how modern competitions enforce all kinds of bizarre and unnatural body positioning "For the Judges".... Sounds like we need more real judges who actually dance, and not just sit around nitpicking at people.

I wish someone would do one of these with 1920s music, but still, great! Love it!

it would be cool if you danced to some authentic music from the era.

The foxtrot was the dance in all the 1930s and early 40s movies where people moved around the dance floor straight shouldered yet active footed

Today people on screen flap their arms and sway their hips and it’s so stupid, so inelegant.

Slow/slow-quick/quick in a 'straight 'line (around the dance-floor) is one form of the Texas Twostep (to fast music); which is a derivation of the Foxtrot.

Thanks for the video, I never knew what that dance was. I was never a dancer but sure could carry football like I was.

The dress isn’t of the period; while the classic flapper dresses were short for the time, it was the 1920s, so, their knees were definitely covered.

Dress is way too short for the '20
