"... that someone is developing psychopathy." - Interesting and insightful choice of words. (One can indeed develop intense internalized anger due to being unable to connect ot others (resulting from the anger experienced due to the inability to connect to others)(and resulting from prolonged periods of being unable to connect to others.)) - I mean it's a circular thing.

One other "red flag": Zero (literally) capacity for self-reflection (as a result of the principle mentioned above). As in they'd rather tear down the house - demonize you, confuse you, play the victim - than saying "yeah, maybe you're right; sometimes I can be a little ...".(Which can last for hours.)

this is very helpful, thank you. I need to get myself diagnosed or find a professional because I feel like I exhibit a lot of these traits (and I don’t act on them) but I have a lot of the impulsive urges and this video hit a little too close to home haha

What’s insightful is the clarification about how they lie & the motivation. I have experienced this weird baiting with lies to get you to defend yourself or just to start a fight. Psychopathic traits are more common than you think.

Psychopathy is thought to be inherited- at least primary psychopathy . I realize it’s still an ongoing area of research.
