I moved from the Diaspora and live in Armenia. Currently Armenia does mostly well but Russia is not happy seeing Armenia dealing with the West. Russia would have wanted to see Armenia as something like Belarus. The people here doesn't want that. They want to continue on the path of democracy and development.

I am Armenian and would say good observation overall👍🏻

But would mention the Bischop Bagrat is not very popular in Armenia because he is seen and known as a Russian agent. Most of the protesters are from Artsakh beacause they lost their homes. The second group of protesters are corrupt maffia families from the previous governments.

As to speak of now in 2024 Armenia is in the lead when it comes to democracy in the region.

It has also signed defence deals and acquired weapons from France and India in the latest.
