Interview excerpt with presenter & public speaker Daniel Edmund. As a British-American, Daniel recalls his experiences of racism in the UK & USA, and how the lack of education on the history of the British Empire, slavery & pre-colonial Africa is detrimental to us all.

This is an outtake from my award-winning short The Felling of Colston, which chronicles the toppling of the statue of slave trader Edward Colston during a Black Lives Matter protest in Bristol, England.

In America black people are being bitten with a growl.(Wolf)
In Britian they are being bitten with a smile.(Fox)
The wolf and the fox both have the same appetite but they display different methods.

I recall a BLM event in my tiny UK city that has so few black people that they had to bus some in from larger cities nearby. People looked very confused by the slogan Black Lives Matter as it's rather stating the obvious. Some old ladies asked them what it was all about and all they got was rote learned statements and sullen attitude. This is in a city were being poor means you use green tea bags in a mug instead of whipping up a nice bowl of organic matcha.

This video reflects the truth. However, karma will serve the racist people.

From my viewing not experience. I have heard most people say that blacks were raised with less racism than ones in the states. Each person can experience different things but it's not a majority. Spreading your experiences won't make someone else have the same, you meet th wrong people at the wrong time is what I'm implying. Both the us and the uk you can experience very different things even while being white or any other ethnicity, don't judge a whole country negatively because you didn't have a good time, everyone has it but experience sure does have big effects

Real thuth here, i respect that, theres so much ignorance in what people think they know, but just dont know, its not and shouldnt be about about colour, im not talking race, as we say human race. Not reference of race as colour but of ethnicity, but they way this guy speaks, its more about humanity and not of diversity, but society doesnt get that, , and i dont think they will, but to many, , we respect you, lots of us do, many of us fight the same inequality, we just need to eradicate the nation that we once were, because we are not who we once were, we are one, and we should show that we are🧐 there is no room for hatred, its dead, and its pathetic👊🏻👊🏻

As for being taught history, EVERYONE in the UK is taught as per the national curriculum of how the British ended slavery! You're talking BS man.
