ngredients:

Optional seasoning:
- garlic powder
- sugar
- salt

1. Dehydrate ketchup at 100°C /200F in the oven until it gets dry, it took me forever. After peeling it, you still need to keep dehydrating it until it becomes hard and stiff. If you somehow still want to make this, I'd advise you not to. Then blend into a powder.

2. Wash your potatoes until the water runs clear and soak in vinegar for 30 minutes.

3. Drain the potatoes and pat dry.

4. Fry and immediately season.

Fun fact: They’re actually not exclusive to Canada. So many of my Canadian friends claim this and it simply isn’t true. It was originally but it was brought over to the states some time ago. It’s not everywhere I never find it in New Jersey or Maine or other northern states but I’ve seen it in New York, California, and even once in Texas at a gas station. I don’t think it’s sold all that much cuz I usually only see a few bags at any given store and never see it in most of south. I used to eat them all the time when I was back up in Canada on business or seeing family

I wish we could get them in the United States. I found on Amazon an American brand that they sell back East called Herrs, but they were horrible. But ordering online from Amazon for the Canadian ones is expensive

Firstly, as a British man I'm offended by default at the use of the term chips... I thought you meant FRIES dipped in tomato ketchup...which everyone loves.

Secondly, Lays are called 'Walkers' in the UK. We had the Ketchup flavour back in the late 90s I believe... it was the bomb... and also prawn cocktail hits differently
