Oh this is Bob Dylan’s son!! I do love this kind of simple story telling song. Thank you for analyzing his music and introducing him to me .Your guitar demo was great, too. So the capo is on the 4th fret means it’s above the 4th fret it seems

If I didn't know he was Bob Dylan's son, I'd think that he reminded me of Bob Dylan anyway. His voice and his delivery are similar. Definitely going to buy one of his albums!

Jakob is a talented guy. Good distinctive vocals and good guitar. Love to see an artist in this light. Just one artist alone..male or female on a guitar or piano. Bare bones no backing band. Not every one can pull it off. I've been there done that many times and always loved the intimacy of it. Jakob deserved much more attention than he got. Fil, loved the wallflowers, different sound, Jacob voice so different than most of the male voices then. To be honest, I think be Bob Dylan's son has more of a hinderance to his career. His voice is much stronger with much more range than his father, but, being a son of a legend is tough.

Just paid my patron fee today, and only mention it, because I can’t say it enough how much you teach me, and if I can talk others into helping you I want to do that. I am retired so have to choose who to support, and you have earned my respect! I am very aware of Jacob’s dad...he was one from my era! Jacob sounds different than his dad, but that is good! Interesting review. I think Jakob Dylan got more comfortable with solo and small group performance later on. His Tiny Desk Concert was really good.

Yeh, like you said, I found it impossible not to compare him to his dad who was my first real musical idol back in the 70's. Bob spoke on such a soul level, a hard act to follow. But it's nice to know his son is doing well and really stands on his own.

To me I think Jakob sings a little better than his Dad but I can hear that connection.
