I remember when I thought that I was pretty good flatpicker. It was about 10 minutes ago.

I love her style, her voice, her personality, her humility. You can tell she's real... just doing what she loves. Her parents must be very proud!

She picks like a demon while singing like an angel.

Molly's flatpicking technique is mind boggling. I have been a flat picker for 50+ years and she just blows my mind. I am no slouch as a bluegrass "shredder" but her level of musical talent is in the stratosphere.

"Molly Tuttle is the first woman in the 27-year history of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards to win Guitar Player of the Year."
Easy to see why -- she's fabulous. Great technical breakdown, especially the tips on practicing. No one gets this good overnight. Practice is key. Great job pointing that out. Big thumbs up.

About time you got to reacting to Molly! This video completely changed my views on how I want to play acoustic. And that she’s able to play that all while singing like a bird still blows my mind.

Well, I'm over my Billy Strings mini-obsession; now I gotta work on the Molly Tuttle one... lol

Forgive me if it's not my preferred style of music. But, when you see greatness, you can't ignore it. I need to keep my mind & ears more open. I'm amazed !!

You’ve done it once again Fil. You’ve turned me onto another incredibly talented musician I didn’t know existed. Molly is truly awesome!!

I've met Molly. she is very humble and down to earth. I actually competed against her in a picking contest years ago and of course she won.. but she told me that when she heard me play she thought it was all over for her.. She is just an excellent musician well rounded in several instruments and sings excellently but just does what she loves and it comes out wonderful. And Fil you're right on about practicing technique, , play to the edge and train the brain over and over.. Just how you said it I try to tell students. I love your interpretations you really understand the fine points.

Such a sweet voice and a highly technical player for her style.

Wow, to my embarrassment - I never heard of her before this video - but after a listen, I'm going to have to put her up there as one of the ten best combination vocalist/guitarists I have ever heard. Thanks again Fil.

Molly is absolutely AMAZING! I never listened to Bluegrass until I discovered her and now I can't get enough of it. She is pure and honest and from what I know, a really nice person.

I'm a vocalist, and have never played a guitar, but I love watching and listening to your analysis, because you do such a great job of breaking down the techniques that you see. And your advice on rehearsing and developing muscle memory applies equally to learning vocal music, in much the same way as learning to play a song. I also like that you spend time analyzing what you see and hear, rather than just the (mostly) empty reactions on most reaction videos.

I love her scale approach; plays a lot of open stings in the scale, very bluegrass. Incredible wrist and right hand!! All with one pick🤯
