Don't go picking any oyster you see in the wild kids, depending where and when, you could get food poison or died eating them. Best to check your DNR first to see if they're in season or good for harvest.

Tip for Oysters on the rocks. Save your knife and use a rock to hit the end of the oyster to push help push the top shell forward so it slides off. Pretty much the way you see here how the knife is being used.
