I remember Adam said during an interview that he almost lost the challenge when he gagged. And you gotta hand it to the dude because he's not a competitive eater by any means he just loves food and yet he's able to complete quite a few of these challenges

I remember I used to hate oysters back in the day and thought they were disgusting, then one day after a few years I tried some at a sea food restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. I have no idea what happened, but to this day I enjoy oysters.

One of ny favorite stories about this challenge is how to get his mind off of the pain towards the end of the challenge. The crowd, like a fuckin movie started singing "I WANNA KNOW WHAT LOVE IS!!!" While the director was freaking out about the song not being able to be cleared.

That's why at the end, the challenge is all sped up, it's literally the whole bar singing to him lol.
