Russell Westbrook figures to be a low risk and high upside signing for the Nuggets who desperately needed a move with some upside. At the end of the day it still just depends on Jamal and MPJ. They play well the Nuggets go back to back, but they didn't this time around. KCP was bad in the playoffs, and we got CB and Watson to replace him defensively

If you think Denver got a problem is because you didn't watched how TERRIBLE Reggie Jackson was for this team. The dude was like -40 on playoffs and was like -10 on netrating playing without Jokic.

This dude was honestly one of the worst players in the league while playing 0 defense, 0 energy, 0 playmaking for other, taking contested 3PTS. Westbrook at least give you fastbreak points, is above average on the finishing at the rim, is a great playmaker still, good rebounde and play decent defense.

This doesn't mean or talk on how good westbrook is. Is more of how ASS reggie Jackson was for the Nuggets every second he stepped into the court.

The hole that KCP created by leaving is the real issue to be talked about and address. I know DEN wanted to dodge the bullet because if you resign KCP to a big contract you won't have money to resign AG. AG is way more valuable than KCP for the Nuggets, but still. CB being the one assigned to fill it is pretty bad.

I think this team is more rounded this season. They finally got some fire power from the bench. They went from Reggie, Braun, Staggered MPJ, Watson and staggered AG. This year at least they got a functional bench that will allow Jamal, Jokic and AG to rest up in the bench. MPJ don't need rest. Dude barely do cardio on the court with all those spot up jumpshots.

Westbrook, Julian, PWatson, Staggered MPJ and Dario. That's a pretty damn solid bench unit with shooters all around Westbrook to open up the paint

I think Russ is a good fit on the team, but am really worried about the spacing especially on the bench, strawthere is a good young player but him and Braun being the guys who are expected to step up is a crazy pressure.
