Have been training Taekwondo for 8 years and I will be transitioning to MMA soon most likely.
I’d say my training with kicks has made me research different martial arts’ kicks (such as Muay Thai and kickboxing) and will help me in MMA because I already know one of the hardest things to master there (other than grappling).

As someone who does Taekwondo and Muay Thai I confirm i know all the kicks of the world. Taekwondo is based on karate and it has many savate kicks also. I've done Taekwondo and i used my moves and the Muay Thais guys im sparring with were flabbergasted 😭. I removed the useless kicks and added muay thai for an special twist, I had an reach advantaged, this is proof that learning mixed martial arts is effective not only 1

Taekwondo is a really good Martial Art to look cool and is good for self defense.

Muay Thai in the other hand is also a cool looking martial art but self defense can turn into absolute destruction
