The new edge actually has 260hp, the s197 gt 2005-2009 and face-lift 2010 had 300hp.

I'm European, so the RWD cars I can get relatively cheaply are either old Volvos (albeit a bit underpowered) or Bimmers. With that said, both Mustangs and Corvettes are freaking amazing.

Building up a Ford Probe GT. These cars are great, nice sounding Mazda V6, fun in a manual, plenty of parts available. Plus, pop up and down headlights and a lift back.
You can pick up a nice, running and driving one for under 6 grand if you know where to look. Got my '95 for only $2100

That 281 in the Fords was a good motor. Had it in a van and my 04 f150. But when it comes to vehicles, i always trust a Ford because they last with me behind the wheel. My Volkswagen Beetle kept breaking axles, my RX7 FC3S kept needing Apex seals replaced, and every Dodge I owned needed a transmission within a month.

I guess what i am saying is i am pretty hard on vehicles...

New edge but didnt mention the 4th gen fbody? Exact same ls1 as the c5 but hella cheaper and more reliable because they had less tech. Gm rated the hp on the vettes at the crank and rated the hp on the fbodys at the wheels, thus getting 345 and 325. But in reality they both have the same hp, which would walk the 260hp mustang GT

You can find 2011 to 2014 Mustang GTs with an R title for about 15 K. If you spend a little bit more you can get one with less than 60, 000 mi for 18K.

The new edge did not make 305 horsepower. It made 260.
