I appreciate her enthusiasm, but she is completely blind to criticism.

Constructive criticism :
1. Write jokes yourself and don't take them from twitter.
2. Stop with the generalisations.
3. Take your time. Doing 96 episodes in around 90 days is not only going to strain you but also is going to make the show look low effort.
4. Take criticism to improve

I love Lilly with all my heart. But I also think that she should take people's opinions about little late into a consideration. She has to learn how to accept criticims, that is the only way she can grow as a person and as a late night talk show host. Lilly wish you the best. I believe in you.

They’re not hate vids they were criticism and just cuz u don’t wanna listen to it and pretend that ur show is good doesn’t make it hate

Lilly, instead of calling those YouTube videos “hateful”, why don’t you watch some of them and you can actually see that they’re providing valid criticisms that could help improve your show. Not all of those videos are hateful..

some tips for ur show(i dont even know if you'll see this)

1. Be more comfortable in front of the camera; dont rush in your monologue take ur time, dont stare at the camera the whole time, look at ur audience more

2. i honestly prefer ur youtube look to the one u have in the show as in ur hair and clothes

3. try expanding ur audience if possible

The only “criticism” she really addressed was that the guests weren’t what people wanted but I gotta say.. of all the critiques I heard, im pretty sure literally no one was like “her show is terrible because the guests weren’t up to my expectation.” And the main thing people talked about was the repetitive content that only talked about one thing over and over and she didn’t address that at all

I didn't really like allwls season one but I hope that season 2 is going to be better. It was her first time doing something like this and it must have bin really REALLY hard, i hope she has learned. Love you 💗 💗 💗

What people need to understand is that: other hosts have the whole year to prepare their segments, their monologs, their everything. Lilly had to do all of these in 3 months. Can you imagine shoot 3 shows per day? Searching for funny jokes, interesting people to interview, etc? She's just starting, it takes time to get to know yourself and your new job properly. She's doing just fine and there is a bunch of space for improvements. Proud of you Lilly!!! You deserve it and much more ♥

Has she ever directly addressed the criticism of her show- I'm not talking about the obnoxious negative comments, but the stuff that critically examines things like her monologues, her interview style and audience responses?

having it be pre-recorded really holds the show back. I hope that she gets a chance to shoot in real time and have her be able to discuss current events

You're missing the mark by pre-recording episodes as nothing you say is relevant to what is going on at the time (and it would would help your scripts)!!
