A few years ago when I started menopause I started experiencing anxiety but as soon as I started hormone replacement therapy I was back to normal. But recently I had an accident that cause me to faint and I hit the floor and busted my lip and broke a few teeth. That accident had me super anxious for about 3 months. I was able to slowly get back to normal by reducing hyper stimulating situations, focusing on meditation, deep breathing and somatic exercises. But just as important by educating myself about anxiety. Knowledge is power.

It is very true that you have to identify the anxious behavior that is causing you stress to reduce hyperstimulation. This can be rather difficult as we all know that a learned behavior is hard to change. But first you have to notice the anxious thinking and a therapist can really help you with that. Be careful however to not get too self-critical as that will also lead to stress.
Even though anxiety can really make us suffer I believe that it can help us change our lifes in a positive way. I hope that this gets more attention and acceptance in the future. Thank you @anxietycentre for your outstanding information and work!

about 2 weeks ago, I was exercising outside and it was on high 80s, I was wearing a sauna jacket like I always do but a little boost on my work out gave me heat exhaustion, and since that day my life just went downhill. I've to the ER the passed 2 Mondays with palpitations, strong chest and back pain, numbness and weakness and all of my left side of the body from the neck down. They Ran all ER blood work, Xrays, ultrasound on my stomach and everything came back with flying colors. I've been referred to a Cardiologist to figure out where those palpitations are coming from since they're really random and once they start I literally can't take a couple steps without my heart going crazy. Today marks 3 days out the ER and I felt I've recovering because my body is not aching as much and I can control my breathing and my palpitations and after watching this video I almost 100% sure hyperstimulation is what is going on in my body.

I feel like since experiencing Anxiety Disorder, which I’ve recovered from 95%. I am now aware that I’m an anxious person. I just hate that I am aware of the symptoms. I wake up every morning not feeling like myself because I am aware of anxiety. Before all of this, I’d wake up fine and go about my day. It’s quite annoying.

Does anyone else walk and feel like they’re going to fall and when they sit they feel like their body is jolting or moving or a falling sensation? But when you lay it’s a little better

Jim is it normal with anxiety to constantly come in and out of anxiety attacks ( I’ve been on Citalopram for 13 years and just recently bad anxiety has popped back in and seems to be difficult to handle ) Wake up fine but my anxious thoughts and constant focus on symptoms keeps the loop going ? Is that possible

My face feels numb, especially more on the left cheek. The sensation seems to be coming from the neck and takes up half of my cheek. My jaw and lips are also affected and they feel somehow swollen, like someone punched my face. I am very afraid cuz I read on Internet it might be a sign of a stroke but I am too young to have one

Just a suggestion: if you have anxiety physical symptoms, please get ur vit levels checked (especially vitD and B12) and also electrolytes.... There is a link between these symptoms and vit deficiency.. most people don't talk about it
