The rods may well be garbage but you are supposed to heat the job up not the rod itself, pieces need to be thoroughly clean.

the idea is get the metal hot enough that when the rod melts by touching the rod on the metal don't use the flame to melt the rod

El calor de la pieza es quien funde a la varilla. El fuego directo a la varilla no ayuda sino que daña la varilla. El fuego se aplica a la pieza que quieres soldar

looks like it is not hot enough. Perhaps a larger torch with higher BTU? second maybe needed. You may also consider wire-brushing the metal so it is clean. Lastly check if the bricks you are using are absorbing too much of the applied heat. You may need to move the work area further away from the brick or use some other method of holding the work pieces

Nothing welds to galvanizing? You need to grind of the galv 1st or use oxy and burn it off... If burning it off use a mask as the fumes are toxic. Then try it again heating the mating surface up to temp 1st as others say. Purchased some to try as well ...

That's not welding rod or even brazing rod, That's solder.
I also recommend applying a liquid flux designed for steel if you're gonna solder to it.
You'll need to work the heat into the metal, don't directly heat the spot where the solder is going.
brush your metal joints with flux, then apply heat just behind that and move the torch around to get both parts heated before filling with solder.

800 rupees some 10 wires only online and also waist many gas can 300 per bottel so why waist money just buy 5000 welding machine and 20 rupees 4 rods come weld good
