Camera gear we've destroyed: Chris & Jordan!!

preview_player
Показать описание
Chelsea & Tony Northrup talk to Chris Niccolls and Jordan Drake from DPreview TV about all the horrible mistakes we've made that have lead to broken camera gear. We've run over cameras with our cars, crashed drones into the water, dropped $10,000 lenses, and have endured all of the stomach-dropping moments no photographer wants to experience. At least we can laugh about it?
Laugh with us as we relive our stupidity. Cry with us as we recall our follies. Learn from us by never repeating our mistakes.

I'm 13 minutes in and can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a YouTube video this much. :D
Addendum: I just realized - this reminds me of the live shows, and I miss them.

I loved this ❤️ my fav part was Chris was talking about his foot injury and his Canadian way of dealing with it. Nailed it! 👌 ❤️ I'm a Canadian.

One of the best videos I have seen in a very long time.

Absolutely loved this; great, funny stories. My score: One Phantom II into the lake, one Yashica MAT lens shade that saved the camera, and one Nikon SB-5000 hot shoe when gravity sucked the whole D850 (which survived with zero damage) and flash off the tripod. I guess not too bad for 55 years of shooting!

It will be great to watch more often conversation around photography and more, with great guys like Chris and Jordan.
It would be a nice break from camera updates and photo gear explanations.

When Chelsea ma'am said "ppl don't watch our channel anymore" it hit me real bad coz I feel this channel is one of the few legit photography knowledge storehouse left in YouTube 😢

Add "No canoes". Everything went fine until I pulled up to shore and went to get out. Panasonic Lumix Digital camera flipped up through the air and plopped into the 5" deep water and mud. The good news is I replaced it with a Canon 70D.

44 minutes of normal studio-style footage, interspersed with 5 minutes of 200mm Telephoto Chelsea B Cam.

Loved the video and both of these channels

Thank you for this video!! This weekend I mistakenly left my Canon 6D Mark ii on my jeep front fender after taking my dog for a walk. Saw it in my mirror skidding across the street at 40 mph. Totally ruined, but didn’t crack the glass! This video made me feel better. Cheers!

Really enjoyed this. I remember falling 3 weeks before my wedding, snapping the lens off my Nikon D5300, breaking my sternum, nose, and 4 ribs along with a fractured ankle in the process. The camera still worked great. My wife wasn't happy.

Very fun talk. Almost 50 Minutes and it never got boring for me. Looking forward to the next one.

Who could stop watching this endless train wreck? It was awesome.
Going through hand inspected security with a camera bag is always stressful for me. They want you to pre-unzip everything, but that's impossible without everything dropping out. They're in a hurry (understandably), so you have to make sure they don't flip the bag over and fling gear everywhere. Being nice and opening whatever they want to see has worked so far.

I've really enjoyed this video. For the past five years I've persevered through my terminal Illness by every video that came from tony and chelsea. I feel that I know them. I now have new friends; chris and jordan.
