You know Ralph likes a game, when he puts on his "narrator voice" and starts talking in a calm slow manner.

I just wanted to add that the soundtrack for this game was done by the wonderful Indie artist Japanese Breakfast, who also happened to have released one of the best albums of the year 'Jubilee'. I would highly recommend it.

The Jean "Moebius" Giraud inspired art direction got me interested way back when it was first teased, but that demo from last year turned me off a bit but I'll still pick it up just to see how it landed on the finished product. It's a cool concept and beautifully executed.

These are my favourite kinds of games: I may only play it once, but that score will certainly be part of a study/homework sessions for months to come.

This feels like a classic Skill Up review... the musical cues, the long pauses for quiet time, his focused, highly descriptive tone. While I love the more humorous and upbeat feel of his new reviews, and their shorter lengths do a better job of actually serving as consumer-friendly reviews... I like this too

We gotta love a new review. You also gotta love how he matched the video style with the game. Kinda like the Route zero review

The fact that this is actually good and not just a failed promise makes me unimaginably happy. These types of games are my favorite, and I can't wait to delve into it myself.

Dude, I just finished the hour or two long prologue and the moment when you leave the canyon with your bike while the music is playing is so beautiful. This for me, is probably gonna be one of my favorite games this year.

Your range between videos like This Week in Video Games and reviews like this is wild. Love it. This game has been on my list for a while, and I'm super excited to play it.

Wow, it's such a visually beautiful game. I was a little on the fence whether I would be into this game or not, but I'm definitely going to check it out now (especially since it's on Game Pass). Thanks for the review, Ralph!

Feeling relieved right now that both Kena and Sable turned out great. 😌

I was excited for both of them ever since I first saw them. Can't wait to play them now. 👍

Between this, Deathloop, Kena, Diablo II Resurrected and then Metroid Dread in a few weeks. I’m fucked.

Gamepass saved me with this one.

If we've learned anything about the Video Game Industry within the last two years, it's that during a time where corporate greed, corporate misconduct and monetization schemes dominate gaming headlines there are still so many talented people, and teams pushing gaming as a medium forward and delivering thought provoking and engaging world's, with stories, and experiences that help us redefine what art is.

Of course you recommend it! Just look at it! It’s pure beauty. Been waiting 3 years for this one ever since I saw the dev putting out updates on twitter. It’s been like my own little hype train all this time.

Can’t fucking wait.

As a bit twitch viewer. It's always so frustrating watching games like this come on screen during showcases or whatnot, and be automatically met with "yikes" or laughs. So happy this turned out amazing

Is it just me or have we been getting more skill-up recently? Loving it!

I love how the characters color pallet adapts depending on the ambient colors of the background environment. It’s as if she becomes a part of it. Cool

This review was absolutely stunning in its presentation. The editing, the soundtracking, and the scripting was all so strongly representative of the tone of the game you were talking about. Fantastic work my man!

For those wondering, the art style and designs are heavily inspired by the works of Jean Giraud aka Moebius, particularly his anthology comic Arzach. Also for the anime fans out there you might consider checking out a one-off OVA called Dragon's Heaven that also borrows many aesthetics from Moebius.

This game. Reminds me of somthing. You know when your a kid and your just running around with your friends at the park or somthing. You have no real goal but your curiousity gets the best of you. Then as time goes on you and your friends somehow end up in an abandoned tree house near the edge of town. No real goal but your curiousity is enough to make it interesting. Im realizeing how rare it is to feel this way.
