Sable was my GOTY last year and one of the few titles I have 100%. I don't normally set out to do this, I just savored every single moment of it and would be very happy to see a sequel. Excellent adventure, the game gets exploration so right. Unlike say a ubisoft title continuously guiding the player. Sable puts a huge skull on top of a cliff, along side a crashed vertical spaceship and a lone structure in the desert nearby, all in the same vista, and leaves it to the players to ask "wonder what might be up there?". Most open world games have you chasing icons for chests, missions, collectables, this game has you chasing your own curiosity.

This came out of nowhere lol. So far from your usual game, but sable was very fun. It's relaxing, has nice environment design, and a really good worldbuilding.

Best feature for me was the photo capture mode in game.

I like sharing screenshots with my friends and every time i would switch to a lower and lower detailed picture, stripped of details, color and everything.

I wish more games had a system similar to that except what's pretty much a screenshot with maybe some visual effects.

Really enjoyed this game, the ambiance and graphics are astonishing.
The only thing that dissappointed me a lot was how short it is and how much I would've liked more temples, ruins, underground stuff to explore.
Which only stresses out how much I loved the game : I just wanted more of it !
Oh, I also would've liked that some clothes would buff you a little in a way (like run faster on sand or use less stamina while climbing) But that's ok.

Would absolutely love a AAA game to make a game that looked like this, but then also have the more expansive systems and depth of progression. That said, it's fun to play a chill indie game sometimes and I love the look of this one, so I'll likely check it out.

I enjoyed the game alot, if I were to criticize I thought some areas were very barebones in terms of content, by far the best part area of the game is where the big city is, talking about the city itself I thought was one of the most memorable places I can think in recent years, really felt like a live in place. Probably what helped me like the game is the fact that reminds me alot of Panzer Dragoon Saga, granted both are heavily inspired by Moebius

The deliberate artistic choice to make things animate at a visibly low-framerate is something I could never get over, made the game unplayable to me. The distracting Pop-in & LOD doesn't help either, which is a shame because the visual style has unique flair
