Holy shit, that first story has me thinking about some of my own improbable childhood buddies

Also the lady on the airplane dreaming of her dead aunt, a similar thing happened to me with an aunt of mine.

That first one sounds kind of sad as opposed to creepy in any way. Shy kid in town finds what he thinks are cool kids only to find that they were probably dead for years. The fact that they were coughing and acting like they were sick during the last time he encountered them leads me to believe they could've froze to death in the woods while building the structure(caught during a surprise blizzard), or might've drowned in a nearby flooding.
But these types of "interacting with spirits you think are alive" stories are my favorite.
A similar one I remember was off an old paranormal site. Details are slim, but it had to do with kids interacting with kids who were described as wearing 1700s style clothing. While they all went to a house where food was served, there were never any adults seen. The living kids went back later to this house to meet those kids only to find empty land.
