He said "we're just joking around" he did text back.

She literally read his texts and saw that "he's been going at him for two days now" he literally cheated, Blaine literally told him many times that sebastian meant nothing to him, and yeah he cheated on him in s4 but both handled it way differently.

as much as I agree with Rachel here in Kurt not being innocent, this situation to me really doesn't strike me as all that different from when Sebastian is constantly texting Blaine and being flirty as well. which, Blaine brushed under the rug even though he knows Kurt and Sebastian don't along and that it makes Kurt uncomfortable. so to me this is kinda fair game

Why did you cheat?
Kurt: It's not cheating, it's texting. Do you know what it's like to be your bf? I used to get solos every week and do you know how many times I had to sit on a stool and watch you perform? I like the way he makes me feel.
Blaine: It felt like Kurt was moving on with his life and I was not a part of it. And I got to thinking that maybe we weren't meant to together, that we weren't supposed to spend the rest of our lives together but right after I did it I knew that we were.

Blaine: It's not okay, because I cheated on the person I love more than anything in the world, I hurt him. So of course, he's not gonna trust me, he's never gonna forgive me.

Did you try to communicate?
Kurt: Well no because Blaine's being distant with me.
Blaine: I did try to talk to him but he didn't pick up, so I cheated on him, then went to NY instead of before.
