Thanks Chris, just checked my 2022 dct wing and as suspected it is not subject to recall. Thanks again for the video. Time to put seat on and go for a ride!

Professor Caliente, thank you for the update, glad that my wing made the cut. For those of you who in fact have been recalled, i personally
wouldn't hesitate to ride, as Chris has stated before the 2018 + wing is still a safe and excellent machine. Make arrangements with your dealer, arrange a date and continue to ride.

Thanks for the clear explanation. In California a safety recall must be signed off by authorized repair center before vehicle can have registration renewed. No matter if my fuel pump is in the good years, I still have to spend time dealing with this issue. Given the circumstance it’s not worth my time to take off the seat to look.

Update: curiosity got the better of me. I took the side panels off and lifted the seat. The fuel pump is an E-year 2021. I’m leaving panels off, seat warmer unplugged, and seat bolts out. Should take less a couple minutes to verify and sign off when I get to the dealer first thing in the morning.

Thanks, Chris, for making it simple. It's riding season and not the time to be sitting in the waiting room at the dealership. I also got the recall letter. But when I entered my VIN# to check, it said zero recall for my bike. They should have just said check with Chris Caliente before bringing in your bike. Keep up the good work/Vids.

I just called my dealership this morning and they don’t even have the information you have yet. They said to check back in a couple weeks. I’m glad to know I don’t have to change mine. I’m hoping I can send them a pic of my tag which I took this morning so I don’t have to take it in and let them check it.

Chris,
I have a 2020 Goldwing Tour DCT. The Lot Number is VERY hard to read, but I think it is 11 C 19. So, I think that means November 19, 2019. Hopefully, I won’t need to get the fuel pump replaced. I just installed the BT Moto Tune a couple weeks ago, it runs great, and I don’t want to mess with it! Thanks for your videos!

The official Honda recall inspection and repair document, clearly states A02 is not included in recall.

Check the part number of the pump.
• For pumps with -A01 in the part number, proceed to step 2 to check the LOT num-ber.
• For pumps with -A02 in the part number, the pump does not need to be replaced and no repair is required. Proceed to filing an "Inspection Only" warranty claim.

You are The Great Crisu!!! I'm going to my friend who has a Gold Wing and let him work - and I will act as a translator along with Uncle Google. Greetings from Poland to all Raiders in the USA. 🤔🤞
