Hahahahaa very good points, I have the G2 and play FS2020 it is a blurry mess! Like you I keep salivating when I see Pimax Crystal videos, but still deciding whether to plonk down $3200 Australian dollars for it or wait for the Quest 3...

Hi bboy, I fancy the quest 3 as well, 2200x2200 pancakes, bit rate set to 350, and hopefully the new snapdragon 2 can decode faster (Apparently twice as powerful as quest2/pro)

Is that resolution confirmed?
Could be a great compromise.

My mates crystal arrives tomorrow.
Staying well away from using it.

It's not all non-pancake lens headsets that have a small sweetspot, it's the G2 in particular that has a really poor sweetspot.
I almost go cross-eyed using mine because my eyes a drawn to the centre of the display to get the clearest image.

By the way, why did you want another G2 when you seemed perfectly happy with the Quest Pro?


*Also, you weren't getting 90fps on AMS2 in the nighttime or rain were you.
Bit of a myth that AMS2 performs well in VR.
