I’ll be buying a 2025 as soon as it comes available. My reasons are the changes in sheet metal, sound insulation, and structural elements resulting in an improved ride and noise level. None of which you mentioned.

2025 looks like a ford escape, the 2024 looks more bold and stands out from other suvs in its class. Do away with the engine auto shut off, then I will consider trading in my 2017.

I'm going with the 2024 because of the raised roof rails. I feel like a set of Yakima or Thule cross bar are more secure with the wrap around towers rather than the more flush mounted rails. I also like the knobs to control heat/cool rather than relying on the touch screen for controls.

Unfortunately, when I first saw the front-end of the 2025 Subaru Forester, the first car I thought of was the Kia Seltos and I can't get past it. I'm open for change, but I'd much rather go with the 2024 Subaru Sport.

the 25 is an improvement in every way. It has more power, quieter, nicer ride, steering, safety, comfort and better tech all around. After test driving both I was blown away at how much better the 25 is, I ordered a Touring!

My wife purchased a Limited 2024 last month. Great vehicle on snow and ice. I have to admit I like the body style of the 2025 better. I like the analog controls in the 24 vs the screen controls of the 25. Curious as to the colors offered for 2025.

They have had that big screen in the Outback for a while. If it fails, it is a $3K part to replace. I kind of like having the screens separated like in the older models than the larger screen. But I will cross that bridge in a couple of years when I replace my 2019.

Very disappointed in the exterior styling for 2025. It looks less like a Subaru and more like a (God forgive me) Ford. Ugh.

My 2025 Forester Premium is from Ota Gunma, Japan (final assembly point). 2026 will be made in Indiana despite what was written by some below. I love the new look and 11.6" screen and new features. The 2025 doesn't have that exterior squished bug look in the front that I never liked. The 2025 is heads above prior years in comfort, speed, and appearance. It's also much quieter. I am really pleased with my new 2025 and the new 6th generation upgrades.

Comparing exterior photos of the new Subaru shot with long lens and the old Subaru shot with wide lens does not give the viewer the true appearance they have in person. The long lens almost allways gives better impression caused by the compressed perpsective.

Lease is coming due on my 2021. Will be looking for the 2024 only. The 2025 leaves me flat disappointed. The full touchscreen is a HUGE disappointment. I find touchscreens very distracting as they force you to take your eyes off the road due to no tactile feel. The styling looks like every other compact SUV on the market.

The 2025 model is as different from the 24 just as the 2010 Outback was from the 09. The 25 offers a much more mainstream design both in exterior and interior. The design is quite understated, and still is quite no nonsense.

One deciding variable not known at this writing is price. How much more for the 25? All things equal, I'm confident the 25 will be the better buy, with better enhancements all the way, a better ride, smoother, with sharper handling, and better residuals.down the road. Nice comparison video! Thx.

Have a 2019 and pleased with the style and handling. Agree 25 looks more like a Ford. Question the reliability of the large touch screen. Disappointed that there was not an upgrade in the horsepower
