After being a fan since 2000, I can assure everyone she RARELY sings live (Regis & Kelly "Amarantine" in 2005 and at the Oscars in 2002). She performed "Even in the Shadows" relatively live a year or two ago on "Good Day New York." We'll probably never see a TRUE live performance from Enya - where no backing track is used. She's a studio artist and prefers to stay that way. There's really no way to put her music on stage and still have it sound like the Enya we're used to. I've accepted that she'll never tour and I'll never get to see her, but at least she gives us these mock performances and does interviews now and then. Such is the life of a true Enya fan

Been a fan since 1988 when this song was first released and it ended up number 1 on the British Top Of The Pops. A powerful, yet incredibly & intricately beautiful song. So unique. I heard it played on a local NorCal radio station (KWIK 95.3 FM) one afternoon in 1988 (?). I had to call the radio station to ask who the artist was. I bought the CD the next day. Her music blew the minds of our entire family. And Enya has been essential music ever since. An amazing catalog of songs from Enya & the Ryans.
