If the humans in the house are talking to each other and not paying proper attention to her, my Siamese goes into the kitchen and opens and closes the cabinets. Loudly and repeatedly. It's all about her. Everything. In. The. World. Is. About. Her.
She's very affectionate and very smart and absolutely not spoiled at all. LOL

Lol I like how they play Chinese music for a Thai cat

Funny how they said ancient Siam when the pictures and the map is pretty much China.

If the cat came from Thailand why are you showing images of China and in the royal scene you use a Chinese emporer
As the royalty scene Thai and China is a different country

I lived in a city centre with my Siamese girl. I had a harness for her when we went so she could walk, but but she preferred to sit on my shoulder. One the rare occasion she didn't like someone she would wave them away with her paw. She used to like catching paper aeroplanes or balls, and went camping with me several times. Once she went to a Thai restaurant with me, where she behaved like a perfect lady and sat on her chair. the waiter brought her a saucer and put it on the table. She behaved better than most humans I ever met. i will never forget her.

I lost my beloved Siamese male after 16 years. I loved, love that cat more than I can say. Well, I just didn't know how to live without him, you see I've been in I'll health for a few years now. M S. Diabetes and brain tumor. Lost him Christmas time Dec. 26. Every day crying absolutely heart broke. Nothing could console me. Well, my wonderful husband of 18 years found me a purebred chocolate point Siamese kitten for Valentine's Day. I named him Jet Li 2 after my first boy. I hope to have as many happy memories with J. L. 2 as I did with 1.

Me and my partner just adopted a stray Siamese a month ago. She was found in south of Spain. I always wanted to have a Siamese but I know adopting is more important than what breed the cat is, and like an answer to a prayer a shelter informed us that there’s a sweet 2 year old Siamese. She is the sweetest cat ever and she LOVES attention!! We don’t have children yet and she is really like our little baby 🥰

I've had a traditional Siamese and he gave me pretty much the absolute best times of my life.

Ah, this makes me wish I'd gotten to know Ying, Dad's cat from when he was a teenager. He was a lovely traditional Siamese with crossed eyes and a nervous disposition. Dad described him as being like an over-eager private who'd memorized the field manual on the first day of boot camp. He'd also take an incredibly long time lining up a jump and then miss. Someday, I want one of these cats.

My family's first cat was a Siamese mix I found hiding under a bush when I was a toddler. He had a strong personality, was a terror to dogs he didn't like, and enjoyed walking with people at the park or down he street.
He lived to be 19 years old, but was put down when he developed mouth cancer.
My husband and I now have a Siamese mix, and he's an absolute sweetie.

But they're right about the noise! Siamese cats are often sweet as can be, but they've also got a mouth. Your home will always be filled with chatter.

I have a traditional chocolate point kitten, who isn't terribly loud, she is vocal when she if s hungry or tired or wants attention. The siamese is my favorite breed so far

To those who say Siamese are mean: I'm typing this with my Meezer buddy curled up in my lap. If he's awake when I get home, he greets me at the door and cries until he gets picked up. He follows me around the house. Curls up next to me at night. Loves to be snuggled. They can be territorial about their favorite human, though, singular. They may attach to a single person in a household to the exclusion of other humans. This may explain why a Siamese appears to be "mean" to someone. But on the whole, they are affectionate, intelligent, wonderful kitties. They ARE a challenge sometimes -- VERY loud when they aren't getting what they want, and they will very literally become depressed and anxious when left alone too long. This is why they are often seen in pairs. Not a good cat to leave at home alone if you work all day. I don't think shelters educate people about these traits very well...be aware of it if you consider a Meezer from the shelter! They are one of the most frequently-returned breeds at animal shelters, which is a shame. They are very challenging but rewarding too. Mine has spoiled me for other cat breeds, possibly for good.

I had a purebred Siamese when I was a teenager. This cat learned how to open the bedroom door so she could leave. They’re VERY smart.

I have/had 2 Siamese, both choc point. First one, Anastasia, was super human friendly but sick before we got her so only with us a short time, but she knew and gave love before leaving us.
We have Cookie now and she's a lovey love purr machine!
Also a black Oriental..he's the most intelligent lovable gentleman. I recommend Oriental breed too

They are just AMAZING cats! I am on my second - I was grief-stricken when I lost my first wonderful boy, Lionel, a seal point. But now I have Kenneth, a mischievous bluepoint, he is so clever and amusing. I could not live now without a Siamese!

I've never owned a Siamese myself, but I once knew a Siamese named Snickers who hung out at this horse farm I used to do volunteer work at a few years ago. She was very gorgeous and an absolute sweetheart. Plus she was super friendly and had the cutest sounding meows ever. 🥰

I recently adopted a couple of cats from a shelter. One is just a regular shorthair but the other was a strange looking cat, small, super lithe and muscular black cat with marbly stripes on his body where the black lightens into dark gray. We started realizing that he’s probably part Siamese; he’s extremely intelligent, we’ve already found that he’s super trainable and will get into anything or do anything to entertain himself, he’s super vocal and has a very Siamese sounding voice, and his face and paws are jet black while the rest of his body is a bit lighter, especially around his throat. He’s also a crazy good jumper and very playful. Loves attention but is also pretty independent, he just likes to check on people and the other kitty as he’s making his way around the house. We have our hands full finding ways to entertain him.

An old neighbour of mine had a siamese cat who used to like to hang out with my tabby. In the summer they would lounge on the roof of my shed. It was cute, like they were friends.
