Yo guys! Tons of you have been asking for the link to download the PRO RAW shots, so I've just updated the top link in the description, and you'll be able to download them there. It's a pay as you want product so you can just enter 0 and it will be free! (But if you want to buy me a coffee that would be appreciated too 🤣☕)

P.s, the giveaway on my desk setup two videos back is still running 🙌

I love that we live in an age where we can actually make this comparison. I remember the first phones with cameras and they were literally nothing 😂

What makes this more impressive is that apple have had their hand forced with making pics slightly oversaturated and overall exposed, because the market dictates this. I very rarely use the default exposure and always drop it a bit manually.

You're the first youtuber I've seen that actually does a true-to-life comparison. The difference in the photo's of the two people on the bench is insane... And those Pro RAW look so good. Great comparison video! I subbed.

Comparing 40+ Mp shots on a sunny day resized to 1080p - yea, that's what professionals do.

DSLR photography requires post processing for better picture, iPhone pictures already have post processing. Phones are designed to shoot and upload, while a DSLR is not designed that way.

The bottom line is that yes, I do see a clear difference between Iphone and R6 in all images. However, as a walkaround camera especially for wide/ultrawide shots, the Iphone is very very good. However, for portrait/close up shots of people, I would pick up a long lens on Mirrorless camera always.

Idk as having both a dslr and an iphone pro as an average photographer, I honestly chose the 14 pro images in 50% of the shots in this. As an average user, we aren’t used to what a dslr looks like so mby not as biased? Either way, the quality that phone cameras are at now is extremely impressive regardless.

The most impressive thing on that iPhone is the 48mp pro raw shots. It really does capture a great wide angle shot.

It’s crazy that we’re at the point of making these kinds of comparisons

the digital sharpness of these smartphones look so unnatural that it's not even a fair comparison to a larger sensored camera with a much larger lens. each camera has its usage. the iphone is the camera you always have on you.

The pics might look good on the phone screen. Drop them on 4k display or try to print out. Is a big difference between thr phone and the camera.

Loving my 14 pro so far, but the canon shots look super clean when you look at them side by side. The iPhone pics are great but it really can’t beat a proper camera. On IG I doubt most people would be able to tell the diff.

It’s really nice to see that companies still put effort on dedicating cameras in this era. However, for more than 99 percent of people if you include the additional cost, software to learn and convenience, smart phones are just the obvious choice.

Your ability to demonstrate the diverse range of shooting conditions in your phone reviews is exceptional. From low-light settings to vibrant outdoor landscapes, your photographs truly give a comprehensive understanding of the phone's camera capabilities.♥️

I noticed that, compared with the DSLR, the iPhone photos had either too much yellow or not enough red. It wasn't severe, but it was both consistent and noticeable. This is an issue I've seen with iPhone photos going back to at least 2015.

HDR on the iPhone is really impressive. Everything post-processed instantly. Amazing for what you can get with the size of a phone that you have with you at all times! It will never beat canon (or any brand) glass but damn it's pretty close. Night mode on the Canon definitely is more natural though. Night photography is the holy grail, still a ways to go but damn, its pretty good on the iPhone!

For short term, Iphone 14 Pro cost less than the Pro Camera but for the long term Pro Camera cost less than the Iphone 14 Pro.

Over sharpening is still HORRIBLE, in the normal mode(HEIC/JPEG). WE NEED an option to reduce the ULTRA SHARPENING that ruins the image.

For me personally it was quite easy to spot the R6 because I'm using it myself. But for the general rule of thumb the Canon (or any DSLM) is just way more timid and gives you more options in post while the iPhone (or any smartphone that is) has lots of software features to guess the best picture for you (and actually does a good job with it). Most of the time the picture than is TOO saturated or has too much dynamic range and therefore loses contrast.
Oh well. Both have their purposes.
On a side note. You could get a superb dslm setup well within the price range of the iPhone. The 5k is mostly for the last 2% and some niche functionalities...
Never forget that.
