You didn’t mention the varieties I’m growing/planning on growing! I have the opposite problem in warm SW Washington zone 8b—I need a lilac that blooms with moderate winters! I planted scentara double blue, and have ordered president lincoln and scentara pura as a short front yard specimen! Currently on the hunt for lavender lady. All supposedly highly fragrant and good for warm winters (I also do have a miss kim as well to round out the collection 😌). I want a nice little lilac grove in the NE corner for my backyard where I can put a little bench and enjoy the mix of colors and extend the blooming time 🌸
