I like how you mentioned Timbs in this video even though they aren’t sneakers. That trend died off quickly like you said. They had some momentum but I don’t think corporate understands that you can’t continue to live in the past and rely on one particular silhouette. Plus, a lot of the ambitious designers/creative directors left Timberland bc corporate didn’t allow them to cook up. They don’t have the retro bag like a Nike/adidas to rely on in this market. Samba/Gazelles have been popular now for going on two years, and it's everywhere you look these days. We have to be coming down sometime soon from the hype on those models in particular. I could see Puma getting a little time in the sun, though.

And sneaker loafers are nasty work. I haven't seen anyone rocking them in the wild so I don't get how it's a trend but 🤷‍♂️
