That last one reminds me of my wife's dog. We got him as a puppy, and he started sleeping through the night after a couple weeks. Then, after about a month of him sleeping solidly, he started waking us up every 2 hours and pestering us til one of us took him outside. After almost 2 weeks of that, we discovered that our natural gas water heater, which was right next to our bedroom, had a faulty valve and had been pumping out carbon monoxide. Without going out for fresh air every couple hours, one or both of us could have died. As soon as we replaced the water heater, the dog went back to sleeping all the way through the night.

Just as a side note, we had installed a brand-new carbon monoxide alarm around the same time we got the dog, but the alarm never went off. I'm glad the dog did!

As for concert front row seats: went to a concert where Gorillaz headluned, as one of the earliest ppl there, a guy was passing me asked - "are you a fan?" I excitedly saud "Yes" and he upgraded me to the stage tickets!


And another story from my teacher who loved Beatles and while attending Paul McCartney concert him being one of few energetic youbger prople there got invited to front row as well!

That dog made me realize how much my anxiety actually limits me because I struggle to go to the dentist/doctor and haven't been to the dentist in 10+ years. I have an esa but I'm not allowed to take him with me anywhere.
