My family and I are regulars at the local Outback. We went today and one of the workers recognized us. He comped our ahi tuna (our favorite appetizer) before it was even at our table. He was just being nice. What he didn’t know is that my parents got a call from my uncle yesterday that my papa died. That act of kindness is exactly what we needed in that moment.
