How to Understand Code Generated from Simulink

One benefit to using MATLAB® and Simulink® is automatic code generation. If you have ever deployed code to a hardware board or made a standalone app, then you have generated code. But how do you go about reading and navigating the code that was generated? This video answers that question.

You will learn to navigate through the C code generated from a Simulink model, and you'll see what each file does. This helps you take generated code into a different programming environment and integrate it with handwritten code.

Please make a video explaining the memory blocks in the new version 2020b, as it differs from the previous versions. I still cannot migrate from version 2020a, since the memory storage blocks do not allow me to select the storage mode, volatile, extern, imported extern, etc.

Two people have told me that code generated from Simulink is very hard to read.
