The best solution the upcoming years would be Yuki to Red Bull at expense of Checo. Yuki's had the best preperation of all drivers that ever made the step from VCARB/Toro Rosso/AlphaTauri to Red Bull Racing. He can learn to be a race winning driver and deal with top team pressure as 2nd driver next to Max for the upcoming 2 years.

VCARB: Colapinto and Lawson to develop eachother for 2 years.

Then, when Alonso retires, Yuki can move to Aston Martin Honda to race for his own chances and Lawson or Colapinto can move to Red Bull.

Could be 2 years, could be 1 year. Yuki at least deserves the Red Bull seat (if he finishes this season on a high compared to Lawson)

I personally am not a fan of sitting out on the sidelines for teams with a preset full lineup. Williams should write up a loan w/without an option to buy Colapinto's drive to RB so that he gets race experience compared to sim experience similar to football

I want to see Colapinto in a top drive instead of languishing in the backmarkers. I wouldn’t mind it being Red Bull but that second seat truly seems like cancer to anyone who ends up in it. The way that car is it doesn’t just need a good driver it needs a driver who prefers the same driving characteristics as Max Verstappen or it just isn’t going to work.
